Flounder: This unique fish lies flat on the surface, and has one eye on either side of its body. Given that it lives on the surface of the ocean, it buries itself underneath the sand to look out for prey. They are usually brown in color, but can actually change their color depending on the environment they are in. These are typically found in coral reefs, bridge piles, and even near docks but some flounder can be found in a 35,000 depth.
Forts of Port Royal: Not very many people know about the forts located in Port Royal, or that Hilton Head Island even has forts! Visit these sites that are filled with so much history starting from the Civil War. Be able to explore Mitchelville, Fort Walker, and the Steam Cannon. “Funny not Filthy” Magic and Comedy Show: Looking for a good night out full of laughs? This comedy show will be presented at the Comedy Magic Cabaret in South Island Square, featuring headliner Kenny Pollock. This show runs Tuesday through Saturday starting at 8 P.M..
