Spring is in the air and that means festivals! The 6th annual, 2013 Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest begins tomorrow night at the Shelter Cove Community Park at 5:00 with entertainment by Cranford & Sons. The party then continues on Saturday from 11-5 with live music by The Headliners. Not only will you be able to sample some of the best seafood in town, but plenty of entertainment, including: live music, a Kid’s Zone, an Iron Chef-style competition, crab races, a silent auction, a bocce ball tournament and a whole lot more. Admission is $5; free for kids younger than 12. Tickets can be purchased for food and drink at the entrance and redeemed at the various booths.
Participating restaurants include: Alexander’s, American Culinary Federation, Black Marlin, Bluffton Oyster Co., The Chart House, Cool Breeze, The Crazy Crab, Gillan’s Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar, Hana Sushi, Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks, Island Kettle Corn, Kurama Japanese Restaurant, The Old Oyster Factory, Pinot Gelato, Red Fish, Skull Creek Boathouse, Street Meet, among others.
