Whole Foods is not only a great place to buy beautiful produce, incredible cheese and fun wines, but there is a different event almost every day of the week at this new market located mid island on 278!
Start on Monday at 7 am with Shred & Tone with Salone. This is a free session with NBC4’s Biggest Loser 2011 Trainer Salone Jones. Meet in the parking lot in front of the store. Bring your own water, towel, light weights and workout gloves. There will be a 15-minute nutritional presentation following the workout from 8:15am-8:30am in Whole Foods Cafe.
Tuesday at 5 pm stop in the Cafe for On Tap Tuesdays! Enjoy a four beer flight while sampling some delicious food pairings for $5 per person.
Wednesday stop by at 6 pm with your pooch for Pups on the Patio.There are treats and belly rubs; and some great social time for you. All for free!
Thirsty Thursday is at 5 pm in the Cafe. Sample wines from many regions paired with delectable snacks for a mere $5. Or maybe you want to learn about healthy eating with a free guided HealthTour. It is also at 5 pm, but you must register in advance by calling 842-0700.
Yoga in the Park with Clay on Saturday at 7 am for free is a great way to unwind and find your focus amidst the beauty of the water and live oaks. Bring your own water and mat.
